As winter draws in, things are slowing down in the garden, at least on the growing side. We still have some winter crops coming along in the polytunnel, but most of the action just now is in getting the place ready for spring.

There’s plenty to keep us busy including building the new polytunnel for the school and adding wooden edging to our beds.

We’ve also had a great boost recently – with help from the fire station team, we secured support to buy a generator and power station from the community resilience fund. This will let us create another warm space and resource for the community. We’re aiming to have it up and running in time for any bad weather this winter.
